Service Receptionist/Appointment Coordinator

The Position
The Receptionist is the welcoming face and voice of our dealership,
responsible for creating a positive first impression for every customer. In
this role, you will greet clients, manage service appointment bookings, and
handle inquiries both in person and remotely. You’ll play a key part in
ensuring our Service department runs smoothly by coordinating schedules,
maintaining accurate records, and supporting various administrative tasks. If
you’re friendly, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional
customer service, you’ll thrive as a valued member of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet
and assist customers in person, by phone, email, or text, ensuring a
friendly and professional experience at every touchpoint.
- Schedule,
confirm, and coordinate service appointments, managing calendars and
minimizing conflicts to maximize efficiency.
- Respond
promptly to all inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate
information about services and appointments.
- Maintain
accurate records of appointments, customer interactions, and service
requests.
- Support
administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing paperwork
to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Collaborate
with service advisors, technicians, and other departments to optimize shop
schedules and customer service.
- Proactively
follow up with customers to confirm appointments, remind them of upcoming
visits, and ensure satisfaction after service.
- Maintain
a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Support marketing initiatives and outbound campaigns as assigned.

Compensation
Please note that this is a unionized store and certain groups of employees are bound by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (the CBA). Therefore, the 2025 set hourly rate for the
Receptionist position at Applewood Nissan
Surrey is $18.74 per hour. Union dues may be deducted from your pay.
