Applewood Auto Group is looking for a full-time Service Advisor at Kia Langley.  We are looking for a Top performer, the best of the best. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Automotive Service Advisor. 

Applications that do not have experience for this position will not be considered.

Our Advisors are responsible for the customer experience resulting in service sales volume as well as customer retention. To achieve this, they must have a strong knowledge of the services offered and how they benefit the customer’s lifestyle and automotive maintenance needs.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and understand their needs: You will welcome customers as they arrive, listen to their concerns or service requests, and record the details accurately.
  • Recommend services and repairs: Based on the customer's concerns and the vehicle's condition, you will suggest appropriate maintenance services or repairs, explain the benefits and costs, and answer any questions.
  • Coordinate with technicians and parts department: You will work closely with the technicians to ensure they have the necessary information and parts to complete the service or repair efficiently and effectively.
  • Update customers on progress and additional recommendations: You will inform customers of the progress of the service or repair, notify them of any additional recommendations that arise during the process, and obtain their approval before proceeding.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction: You will follow up with the customers to ensure their satisfaction, address any concerns or issues, and provide advice and tips for maintaining their vehicle in good condition.

Measurables:

  • Customer satisfaction rate: This measures customers’ satisfaction with the dealership’s service, including the service advisor. It is measured through OEM surveys and/or Google reviews.
  • Repair order completion rate: This KPI measures the percentage of repair orders completed within the estimated time frame. The goal is to ensure that customers receive their vehicles back as quickly as possible.
  • Additional services take rate: This KPI measures the percentage of customers who accept additional services the service advisor recommends. This helps increase customer satisfaction by offering additional maintenance services that can help extend the life of their vehicles.
  • Effective labor rate: This KPI measures the efficiency of the dealership's service department by calculating the revenue generated per hour of labor. A higher effective labor rate indicates that the service department operates more efficiently.
  • Gross profit per repair order: This KPI measures the dealership’s total gross profit for each repair order. A higher gross profit per repair order indicates that the dealership generates more revenue from each service visit.

Supplemental pay types:
